Route: From Tideswell we will walk down Tideswell Dale to Litton Mill, cross over the Monsal Trail and climb up to High Dale. Then along to Monsal Dale dropping down to the viaduct and climbing up to Monsal Head. Then through Little Longstone, up Moor Lane onto Longstone Moor to Wardlow, Tansley Dale to Litton and back to Tideswell.

The walk has 2 good ascents, the route is mainly on good paths through fields, woodland and open country, typical limestone scenery.
Some road/tarmac sections on quiet roads or pavements. Graded as 3 because of the steep ascents. Fields may have cattle in.

Route: Starting from the car park, our route takes us through Swinden Plantation, ascending towards Little Moor and Upper Hordron. We then drop down to cross the river before making the climb up to Howden Edge via Near Cat Clough.
From the edge, we bear left to Hoar Clough, descending to the River Derwent. A left turn leads us up Lower Clough—passing the shooting cabins—to reach Ronksley Moor, where we turn leftonce more towards Ridge Nether Moor.
Our descent brings us to Linch Clough, continuing downhill until we reach the iconic Kings Tree. To complete the walk, we will pick up the Cut Gate path, crossing Mickleden Edge to return to the car park.

Start Point Location: Meet at Langsett Barn car park off the A616. Just above the spotty café but on the opposite side of the road.

If Langsett Barn car park is full there is a big layby 100m up the road.

Parking is free but it can get busy.

Route: We will begin by walking along the Thornhill Trail to the Ladybower Reservoir Dam, before crossing the road and heading up onto Bamford Edge. From there, we will ramble across Bamford Moor and ascent to Stanage Edge. After descending from the edge, we will head up to Carhead Rocks, where we will turn left and descend toward Kimber Court Farm and the local church. Our route then takes us past Cliff Wood, Birley Farm, and Thorpe Farm, continuing through the golf club grounds to Bamford Filters and Bamford Mills. Finally, we will rejoin the Thornhill Trail to return to our starting point.

Start Point Location: Mytham Bridge road nr Bamford Station Bus Turnaround, off Station Road, Sickleholme Bamford. Park at the far end of road but please don't obstruct driveways.
On A6013 heading south from Bamford, Mytham Bridge road leads off to the right, near the bus turning circle (between Bamford railway bridge and A6187 Hathersage to Castleton road traffic lights). Proceed to its end

Route: This is a hard walk, experienced hill walkers only please.

We will begin by heading up to the churchyard and continuing along the hill edge to Rocher Head. After crossing the road, we will walk across Cowell Flat and cross the road once more to join the Dukes Road path. From there, we turn right to reach the
Shooting Lodge, where we will turn left to cross Side Head Beck and Oaken Clough.
Next, we will descend via Middle Moss Spring to Gallows Rocher, cross the river, and head up to Fox Stones. We will then ramble across the moor to Pike Lowe, turning left to join the Cut Gate Path toward Margery Hill.
From there, we continue along Howden Edge before turning left toward Featherbed Moss. After rejoining the Dukes Road path, we will turn right to descend to another set of shooting cabins. Finally, we'll walk through Bradfield Moors to reach the road,
immediately joining the path to walk along the edge of Agden Reservoir and back to the car park.

Start Point Location: Low Bradfield village car park (behind cricket ground/tennis courts/village hall) - The Sands off Fair House Lane (just below words Kirk Bridge on map) (signposted to a recycling centre from road).

Route: A route taking in three of the high points around Penistone.
Hoylandswaine trig point, Royd Moor and Hartcliff Hill.

Route: From Tideswell, we will walk to Meadow Farm, where we will descend into Miller's Dale. After crossing the road, we will head up through the Miller's Dale Nature Reserve (a good ascent!) to Lydgate Farm and Rock Lodge Farm.
Next, we will cross the A6 and walk through the churchyard to ascend Sough Top. Continuing on this linear footpath to Shepley Farm, we will then take Priest’s Way toward Deep Dale. After crossing the A6 once more, we will walk along Wye Dale and
Chee Dale before finally turning left onto the Limestone Way to head back to Tideswell.

Start Point Location: Tideswell - Queen St (B6049) by the toilets. It is on the Buxton side of Tideswell.

Route: After walking along Shelf Brook, we will turn left and start a steep ascent to James’s Thorn. We'll then continue across Shelf Moor to the trig point. From there, the footpath takes us to the crash site, where we will turn left onto the Pennine Way.
Turning right, we’ll head toward Bleaklow Hill and continue to Bleaklow Stones. Next, we will turn left and begin our descent via Far Black Clough to reach Birchen Bank Wood.
From the wood, we will head back up toward the centre of Bleaklow via Near Black Clough to rejoin the Pennine Way. Once we reach Clough Edge, we will turn left toward Cook Hill and its disused quarry, before finally returning to our starting point.
