| Description | We leave the crenelated tower and follow the reservoir route round clockwise, continuing along one side of Broomhead reservoir. We climb left up through woodland to quiet lane Rocher Bottom lane, then across a couple of steep fields to Snell House. Then ascend to quarry area behind Spout House with great views where we stop for lunch. Follow footpath along the hill top and down to Tinker Brook House, taking permissive footpath through Benteholme Farm and descend through Glen Howe Park and tower. Turn left up Storth Lane track, into Brightholmlee hamlet and across a field and wood to return to reservoir and parking. |
