Description From Rowsley we head up through Rowsleymoor Woods to Calton Pastures and Calton Lees. We’ll stop in Beeley for a long lunch (about 1 hour) as it’s Beeley in Bloom weekend.

A mixture of woods and open countryside with views of Chatsworth House.

Easy going walk but we’re walking uphill for almost the first 2 miles.

Toilets In Peak Shopping Village and also Calton Lees garden centre.

Beeley in Bloom is back for 2026 with more heritage, art and craft themes added to the popular open gardens.
Chesterfield Art Club will be putting on their popular Summer Art Show at the Village Hall. There will also be tea, cake, plant sales and other stalls and a nature trail in the Community Orchard.
This year around 12 of Beeley’s gardens will be open – ticket price £5 if you want to see as many as you can during the long lunch break!
