Welcome to the Sheffield 40s Walking Group!
The Sheffield 40s Walking Group formed in 2007 and now has over 280 members. We walk mainly in the gorgeous Peak District and surroundings, usually ending up in a pub.
The group is aimed at people in and around their forties/fifties/sixties but anyone over 18 and up for a laugh is very welcome. In spite of the name, we have members from everywhere from Stoke to Nottingham to Doncaster, not just Sheffield!
We offer a programme of Saturday and Sunday walks all year round with something for everyone, longer and shorter both near and far. For full details about the walks, see the Walks Pages.
Social nights out are arranged about once a month and weekends away every couple of months - see the Socials and Weekends Away pages for more details.
If you want to see what we're like, click on the Galleries Pages and you can see photos of all the larking about. But don't let that put you off! You are more than welcome to join us for a couple of walks to see if we are the group for you before committing. Just choose a walk and text the walk leader that you will be coming along and let them know you are new. Click here for further details about joining us.
The website is the best place to find everything you need to know about our group and should have answers to most questions that you have - but if not please feel free to contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
