Route: Heading North out of the village we take the back lane onto Cross Lane then Huntmoor Butts Lane passing the Donkey Sanctuary (optional stop-pause for the animal lover(s)). Cross the A515 to get onto the Pennine Bridleway heading for Pomeroy and head for the Midshires Way/Highstood Lane to Chelmorton.
Short sharp ascent out of the village and up onto Taddington Moor/Moor Lane and then Whitefield Lane then head South to Rockfield House and head for Flagg. Cross fields and head for Blackwell Lane and back into Monyash.
No real hills today but it isn't flat, nothing difficult just a few lanes to walk along but are not busy with traffic.

Route: From Heatherdene car park we cross the bridge over Ladybower Reservoir and then there is a steady climb (about an hour) to the top of Win Hill where we will stop for coffee. We then continue on to Hope Cross before a steep and woody descent back to the side of the reservoir. The final 3 miles are by the side of Ladybower. We will stop either at Hope Cross or beside Ladybower for lunch.

Start Point Location: Heatherdene pay and display car park on A6013 at Ladybower. The car park is located close to the junction of the A57 and the A6013. If coming from the A57 the car park is on your left after the bridge. If coming from Bamford the car park is on your right just before the bridge. Free but limited parking on the A6013. Ample free parking on the road to Thornhill off the A6013, but allow 10 mins walk to start point. Toilet facilities available at the

Route: Up and along the Roman road to Hope Cross,turning left along the track to Jaggers Clough.Then traverse to the YHA and
down to Edale (LUNCH). A steady climb after lunch, skirting around Hollins Cross, Back Tor and Lose Hill, eventually leading down into Hope village where there might be the odd pub, should you fancy it..!

Start Point Location: Hope Primary School - Eccles Close, Hope. There is some on road parking on Eccles Close, and on Edale Road. NB: There are signs in the Estate discouraging you from parking.
